The data in BenchDirect™ Destinations is displayed based on browsing dates: the dates on which a user visited a hotel website, made a search or booked a room.
In the top right corner of the platform, there is a date selector which allows you to select the time period you want to view. The relevant data is then displayed for the selected date of browsing.
For example, if you select the last 30 days, you will be able to see visitors, searches and bookings that happened during the past 30 days.
By using the filter options, you can further refine the analysis based on stay dates: the dates the visitor is looking to travel. This filter allows you to see data related to visitors who searched or booked within the specific stay dates range you selected.
For example, if you apply the “next week” stay dates filter, you will see the data for visitors who landed on the hotel websites at your destination during the browsing date period you previously selected (in this case, the last 30 days) and searched for or booked stay dates next week.
Please note that if you choose to filter by stay dates, the data will only include website visitors who made a search on the hotels’ Booking Engine at your destination.
There is the possibility that some of the graphs and reports will be blank when applying the stay dates filter. This indicates that no search was made for these stay dates during the selected browsing date period.
