Difference between the number of searches and visitors who searched

One visitor might do several different searches on the booking engine pages, looking at availability on different dates, for example. In BenchDirect™ Destinations Demand, you are able to view the data in two ways:

• By searches: all searches made on the hotels’ website in your destination during the selected period regardless of the number of unique visitors

Or 

• By visitors who searched: number of unique visitors who made a search on the hotels’ website in your destination regardless of the number of searches they may have made
