If you are not sure if there’s a GTM account linked to your hotel’s website or booking engine, you can find out following the instructions below or watching this short video.
- Install the Google Tag Assistant by clicking on the “Add Extension” button.
- Once it’s been added go into your hotels’ sites.
- Click on the extension right next to the search bar and click on the ‘Enable’ or ‘Record’ button.
- Refresh the page.
- Look at the results of the Tag Analysis and check for any labelled ‘Google Tag Manager’ and write down the Account ID registered for all hotels.
- Repeat the process in the hotels’ booking engine and check the Tag Analysis results to see if there are any ‘Google Tag Manager’ tags.
